MEET MICHAEL & SARAH

Michael and Sarah are a couple in their early 30s. Michael is an attorney and shareholder at a law firm and Sarah is a Registered Nurse. They came to IEM by introduction of some friends, searching for help on how to combine their finances after they were married and as they were climbing the ranks in each of their professions.

We helped Michael and Sarah determine their philosophy around combining finances. We then helped develop a holistic plan, which included getting them appropriately set up for benefits and retirement plans at work. As life progressed and incomes increased, we designed plans to help them allocate cash flow, save for a family home, and even have a longer-term roadmap for education planning for the children they plan to have one day.

We have helped them adjust their roadmap to accommodate the new constraints on cash flow, keep in mind tax planning, and still help keep them on track for their retirement and educational goals.
